To minimise the risk of water damage, I immediately turned off the water supply, placed a bucket underneath the sink to collect the leaking water, and thoroughly dried the surrounding area. What concerns me most is that the leak has made it impossible to use the kitchen sink properly, making everyday tasks such as washing dishes and preparing meals extremely inconvenient. In addition, I had to stay home yesterday instead of going to work because I was worried that the continuous leak might damage the kitchen cabinets and flooring.

If the problem remains unresolved, it could result in more extensive water damage and even more costly repairs. I would be grateful if you could arrange for a plumber to inspect the leaking tap and carry out the necessary repairs at your earliest convenience. I am available at any time this Saturday, so I would be happy to provide access to the apartment whenever it is convenient.
