I strongly support keeping the teacher uniform while improving its fabric and design because it maintains a professional image and provides greater comfort for teachers throughout the school day. One of the main reasons I prefer this option is that a uniform creates a professional image for the entire school.
When teachers wear a neat and consistent uniform, it reflects discipline, unity, and professionalism. Students can also identify teachers more easily during assemblies, sports events, field trips, and other school activities.
In contrast, removing the uniform policy may make it more difficult for students, parents, and visitors to recognise teachers quickly, especially during large school events. Another significant reason I support Option A is that the real problem lies in the fabric and design rather than the uniform policy itself.
The current thick polyester material becomes uncomfortable during warmer months, while the dark navy colour absorbs heat. Instead of removing the uniform completely, the school should collect teachers' feedback, choose a lightweight, breathable cotton-blend fabric, and introduce a design that allows greater freedom of movement. Overall, Option A is clearly the more professional, practical, and cost-effective choice. By improving the fabric and design, the school can ensure teachers remain comfortable while maintaining a positive and professional image.
